Joe McEwan

Project Manager, New Zealand Registered Architect (NZRAB), BAS, M.Arch

Joe has recently moved to Vancouver from New Zealand where he has been working within architecture for the last 7 years and has recently become a New Zealand Registered Architect (NZRAB). Joe received his master's degree from the Victoria University of Wellington, where there is a strong focus on sustainability, environmental consciousness and a 'hands on' design process.

Before joining TKA+D, Joe has worked in two offices that had a mixture of Commercial, Residential, Heritage and Education giving him a broad understanding of different project types. He was also involved in some structural upgrade projects following the Christchurch Earthquake. These 2 offices and the University at which he graduated have shaped his design ethic and led him to have a strong drive for good design.

Joe's passion for creation has improved his understanding of materials and construction when approaching architectural challenges.
