TKA+D Announces Promotions for Monica Basulto and Eric Seo

TKA+D is pleased to announce the promotion of Monica Basulto and Eric Seo to the role of Associate. Both Eric and Monica bring extensive experience and passion for architectural excellence to our team.

Monica Basulto, Associate + Senior Project Manager, Intern Architect AIBC, M. Arch, B. Arch

Monica has more than 15 years of experience across Mexico, Australia, and Canada, covering a spectrum of projects from high-rise mixed-use residential to award-winning industrial developments. Her expertise includes conceptual design, master planning, and technical documentation, and she is recognized for balancing innovation and practicality. Monica is a strong advocate for collaboration and believes thoughtful design enhances lives and communities. She has led key projects such as the 150 West 4th industrial development and 3475 E. Hastings residential tower, bringing efficiency and care to every stage of the process.

Eric Seo, Associate + Senior Project Manager, B.AS

Eric leverages years of local experience in residential and mixed-use projects of various scales. Dedicated to understanding all aspects of project delivery, Eric’s background spans roles from architectural technologist to senior project manager, where he has successfully led projects for TKA+D and other leading firms. He is also known for his commitment to guiding and mentoring others, both in the studio and through a decade of volunteer work. Eric’s project experience includes 3475 E. Hastings, CapU Student Residences, and various large-scale towers across Metro Vancouver.
