Sam Macaspac 

Architectural Technologist

Sam is an Architectural Technologist at TKA+D with a multidisciplinary background in animation, applied programming, architecture, and BIM. After completing her studies in Building Science and Energy Modelling in 2023, Sam has worked on mix-use residential wood-frame and concrete developments across BC, garnering skills in technical design, CA, envelope detailing, and coordination. Alongside project delivery, she has led the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards, helping establish more coordinated approaches while prioritizing collaborative user-experience first, and complex optimization second. Sam is passionate about bridging creative exploration with technical precision to create thoughtful, resilient, and sustainable spaces. She takes a fundamentals-first approach to learning, believing that a strong understanding of the principles is essential to mindful innovation.
