Erik Bean

Associate + Intern Architect AIBC, Architect RIBA

Erik is originally from Vancouver where he graduated, with honours, in Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia. After several years of local architectural experience Erik attended the Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark, where he completed a Master’s in Architecture and received the prestigious CEBRA Thesis Innovation award. Following a period abroad and an intensive architectural practice in Berlin, Germany, Erik returned to Vancouver to join TKA+D. He brings both progressive European design ideals, as well as foreign and local expertise in architectural design across diverse project typologies. Erik holds professional qualifications from Denmark and the United Kingdom.
