Corix Langley Gateway Facility

This tenant improvement project was designed for Corix for their office, manufacturing and warehouse operations at Langley BC and will house their Finance, Marketing, and Engineering. This project is their flagship and will serve as a prototype for all new Corix developments across North America. TKA+D employed several innovative workplace design principals for this project including the use of inboard offices that enjoy borrowed views and natural light across an open plan general office area. The “built” office zones are kept to a minimum and TKA+D worked with Corix to redefine their office culture in a move away from enclosed offices by offering several meeting rooms throughout the floor plate where an employee could retreat to if in need of a quiet, private environment in which to perform certain activities.
