Benjamin brings to TKA+D an award-winning architectural skill set, along with a well-rounded project record that testify to an Excellence in Design, while upholding a commitment to Sustainability + High-Performance Design.

As TKA+D’s Sustainablity Manager, Benjamin’s focus involves the development of our studio’s sustainable design strategies, systems, and processes that bring TKA+D’s designs to the next level. He supports project teams across the firm when setting sustainablity targets, contributes to early green design concepts, and follows through on the implementation of key design ideas into construction. Benjamin’s role is to help our clients + peers effectively and positively contribute to this decade’s important, yet rapidly shifting, industry goals.

As an Intern Architect, Benjamin has also handled the project management, daily design, technical development, and contract administration for institutional, commercial, industrial, residential, adaptive re-use and regional planning projects. He has been with TKA+D since 2012, working on South Surrey Recreation + Arts Centre, Surrey Works Yard + Offices [LEED Silver], Willingdon Heights Community Center [CLT/Step 3/Net Zero], Eastpark MURB – 35th + Main [LEED Platinum], Vantage Squamish Mixed-Use/Residential, 150W4th Industrial + Offices [LEED Gold], and two District Energy [DE] Projects [CLT] in the Lower Mainland, to name a few.
