AG Hair

This new head office and manufacturing facility for AG Hair represents a Gateway project that marks the entry to the Frazer Mills neighbourhood when approached from the North. As such the building has been carefully oriented and detailed to provide an active and welcoming face to the corner of King Edward Avenue and United Boulevard.

The primary architectural expression is of high-quality curtain wall glazing with a carefully considered pattern of translucent ceramic frit. The application and proportion of the ceramic frit pattern sets up a rhythm of solid and void, transparent and opaque that is replicated in the concrete walls of the warehouse spaces providing a high percentage of glazing and perceived depth to the North East and west facades.
