TKA+D was commissioned to design a $67 million light industrial and commercial development, owned by Dayhu Group of Companies, located in the Mount Pleasant Industrial Area of Vancouver. The 168,000 sf project is a seven-storey facility, having gone through rezoning for extra density, and major customization to meet the needs of the single tenant, Abcellerabio. The tenant project will include specialized laboratories, office spaces, storage, and generous outdoor and communal spaces, including exceptional end-of-trip facilities.

Working with Recollective sustainability consultants, and Focal Engineering as energy modeling consultants, this project will satisfy meet the sustainability targets required for City of Vancouver rezoning, including LEED Gold for new construction.
