Tanita Cherian

Intern Architect AIBC, MArch, BA, Dip. Tech.

Tanita began her career in architecture in 2015, working as an architectural technologist and contributing to a wide range of residential and mixed-use projects throughout the Lower Mainland. Her curiosity about the design process and her desire to see projects through from initial design to completion led her to pursue a Master of Architecture at the University of Calgary, which she completed in 2024.
She joined TKA+D as an Intern Architect in 2026 and is excited to broaden her experience across other project typologies while deepening her knowledge of sustainable design and project delivery. Tanita especially enjoys the collaborative nature of the design process and is committed to continued growth and learning as she works toward architectural registration. Ultimately, she hopes her contributions to architecture can help create spaces that inspire their users, enhance individual experience, and foster a stronger sense of connection within the communities they serve.
