The Oxley

The Oxley at East Pender Street and Commercial Drive was developed by Epix Developments Ltd in 2017. TKA+D was approached to design a boutique mixed-use development with 10 townhomes, 5 bachelor rental units, and ground level office spaces. The unique combination of programming in the given site resulted in a 4 storey courtyard building with the ground floor fully utilizing the site area for office space and two three-storey residential blocks flanking an interior courtyard with a total gross floor area of 17,930 SF (1666 sqm). The Oxley takes advantage of the full property area while providing exterior private and communal amenities. The residential units are modern open-concept plans designed to give the residents a canvas to personalize their homes. High ceilings and large windows paired with the open-concept space provide an abundance of natural light within each living space.
