TKA+D was engaged by EPIX Developments to design this 81-unit development in alignment with Vancouver’s Grandview Woodland Community Plan (GWCP) in the East Broadway Multi-Family Precinct (EBMFP). The project involved the rezoning of a low-density site (RS-1) and the redevelopment of a 6-storey wood-frame residential building with two levels of underground parking. Fronting onto Broadway, the project contains a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units, offers landscaped outdoor patios for ground floor units, balconies for each upper floor unit, and provides a shared amenity space with an outdoor terrace for the use of all residents. The building is designed to meet the Green Building policy guidelines, and it satisfies the Low Emissions Green Building requirements.
