TKA+D Recognizes & Celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day

On June 21, we honour the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada. This day is a reminder of the diverse and vibrant heritage of Indigenous communities and the importance of acknowledging their profound impact on our society.

The people of TKA+D are grateful to live, learn, and work on the shared and traditional lands of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. The TKA+D office is located on shared, traditional, and unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.

TKA+D is committed to fostering respect, understanding, and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities. We encourage everyone to participate in local events and celebrations to learn, reflect, and celebrate the unique traditions and perspectives that enrich our lives.

Join us in paying tribute to the resilience, strength, and wisdom of Indigenous peoples. Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day!
