Her designs are contextually sensitive, reflecting the site’s culture, history, and essence, embodying the genius loci. She skillfully integrates light, materiality, fenestration, and form to reinforce the overarching design concept, creating interiors that are not just functional but also beautiful, adhering to principles of balance, emphasis, proportion, rhythm, and harmony.
Christina works closely with our project teams and clients to develop comprehensive interior design strategies that harmonize with the building’s overall architectural expression. She ensures that every design meets the client’s goals for space planning, wayfinding, placemaking, materials, and furnishings, aligning perfectly with our commitment to functionality and coherence. Some of her project experience include Cloverdale Arena, Tsaa che ne Dane Cultural & Education Centre, UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences Building, Killarney Seniors Centre, Sobey’s Distribution Centre, and our own TKA+D Office at the Ironworks.
